The Glass Nib
The glass nibs created exclusively by hand can be considered true miniature works of art.
The color, material, and shape help to enhance the nib, emphasizing its real use.
It was used in fountain pens at the beginning of the century and originally produced in Eastern countries.
Its use is less efficient than classic steel nibs, even though the beauty and
charm remain incomparable.
In Venice in recent decades, thanks to glassworking, the nib is created together with the barrel
also made of Murano glass, creating from this union a wonderful writing object.
