The Glass nib

Il Pennino di Vetro

The glass nibs created exclusively by hand can be considered true works of art in miniature.

The color, the material, and the shape help to enhance the nib underlining its real use.

It was used in fountain pens from the turn of the century and originally produced in Eastern countries.

Its use is less performing than the classic steel nibs even if the beauty and the

charm remain incomparable.

In Venice in recent decades, thanks to glass procssing, the nib is created together with the cannula

also in Murano glass creating from this union a wonderful object for writing.
